Amazing food! The popcorn chicken, stinky tofu, and beef noodle soup were all fantastic. Highly recommended!

A warm, welcoming spot with delicious noodles, flavorful Taiwanese dishes, and exciting new discoveries. This newly opened Taiwanese noodle shop in San Mateo quickly became one of my favorites — I ended up going three times in a single week. The noodle dishes are excellent, especially the Dan Dan Noodles and the Century Egg Sesame Noodles, besides the appetizers and side dishes are just as memorable. One standout was the Golden Napa Cabbage. It’s somewhat like Taiwanese-style kimchi, with a surprisingly addictive sweetness from carrots and pineapple. It gave me that wonderful feeling of, “I had no idea Taiwanese cuisine had flavors like this.” Another must-try is the Sichuan Chili Oil Pig Ear — spicy, savory, and absolutely would be perfect with a cold beer. The restaurant itself is spotless and comfortable, right down to the impeccably clean restroom. The smiling female owner creates such a warm and genuine atmosphere that you immediately know you’ll want to come back again. Went to Dim Dim Noodle and already planning my next visit. About 20 minutes from Google, right off the freeway, so easy to swing by. Started with the golden cabbage, fermented with pineapple. Not sweet, just really flavorful. And the cucumber appetizer tastes just like home. Simple, fresh, crunchy. Then the shrimp dumpling noodle came out. Loved it. Ordered another noodle dish too (forgot the name) and that one was just as good. Everything was so fresh. If you're nearby, go.

New taiwainese restaurant at marina plaza complex. Itvis still soft opening. I came here twice already in two weeks time. The interior is pretty much the similar to 2 previous restaurants. It is open kitchen concept. The menu is pretty simple with mostly taiwanese dishes and also dimsum. One interesting in the menu is stinky tofu. I cannot imagine I'm someone order it. As the restaurant is small, the smell could be overwhelming. We ordered taiwainese beef noodle soup, pig ear, pork chop friedcrice, , golden napa cabbage, wonton noodle soup, tossed bamboo shoot with wood ear and lotus root. The unique dishes are pig ear and golden napa cabbage. This is the first time I have the golden napa cabbage. Thevpig ear is spicy but not too spicy. The popcon chicken is tender eventhough looks like portion is different between tables as many customers ordered it. Beef noodle soup is yummy and the wonton soup too as the noodle , meat and wonton are tasty. The least I like is the tossed bamboo shoot one. Overall good meal. One other thing is suggested gratuity is 18 % and above and in top of total amount with tax.

Finally a high-quality noodle shop in Foster City! We got the clear braised beef noodle soup and satay hot pot noodle soup and Taiwanese popcorn chicken. They were all awesome and had good flavor. The portions were surprisingly big and the noodle soups came with enough meat! Usually I order a side protein to go with my noodle soups because restaurants never give enough meat, which is why I ordered the side of Taiwanese popcorn chicken, but there's plenty of meat in my noodle soup bowls. Also we love how much variety there is here so we'll definitely be back to try the other options. Everyone was ordering the rice dishes so we'll definitely be back to try the rest!
